Challenge # 64 Theme : Anything Goes using Vintage

Hello everyone. Another fabulous week-end celebrating  our
nephews graduation from High School, Trip to Europe and
then off to college in August, as well as turning 18.. You
look back at and wonder how did this happen. I do that with my
own two boys..
So feeling vintage myself right now, I chose an image
with a child in the mirror from A day for Daisy's.

I really like the brown tones that I used with this image.
My back ground is made from one of MS. Punch
around the page punches.. Looking back at her now,
I wish I would have done her hair a tan or brown color,
but I still love her. I had a strip of old lace that I added
to the edge, with some silk flowers in the brown and
cream tones that I was looking for. I touched up the
edges of y oval and sentiment with TH charcole, added a
couple of pearls on the sentiment to finish it off.

I hope that my card will inspire you to find your crafty place
for a fun week of vintage crafting..

Happy Crafting.

PS- Anything goes

Hello again..It seems to me that these weeks are flying by..
I have less than two weeks left before school is out and
I am on a 2 1/2 mo vacation. Am I ready you ask, Yes I am. LOL
So for this weeks card challenge it is Anything Goes.

My card this week is simple but elegant.I love putting
Black and White together. They are two of
the more crisp colors together that I can think of. I started looking
through all my embossing folders that I "JUST HAD TO HAVE"
and then never use them. So for this card I  used my
star burst folder that came with a border folder with it,
embossed both leaving a small blank spot for my sentiment.
Ran a silk black ribbon down the side and topped that off
with a 3 layer black and white flower. The sentiment is
from a Jolene's multi pack that I hardly ever use as well
and stamped it three times for alittle different effect.

I hope you enjoy my card and it brings you to your happy
crafting place. We'll be looking for you over at
with your "Anything Goes" Card.

Happy Crafting..

sentiment. A simple card this week that is called
Pansy's and butterflies. My floral punch on the side
was made with one of my Martha Stewart punches
with a black  pearl swirl..

I hope you will find your crafty space and join us

Lacy Sunshine- Anything but a square card.

This week I am using one of Lacy Sunshines newest image called

Olivia Otter. I love her images and when she came out with the
newest animal line, I just had to have them. So here is what I
did with Olivia Otter

My card is a side center step. These are fun to do
and I don't do enough of them. So, I have covered
each step with a water paper, although you can't really
see the water effects. For the side, I found a free cattail
image on Coloring Pages.com. Everything is free and every
thing was colored with my copics.. . Can you
believe it.. My most fav type of image.LOL  So then I
placed Olivia on the center step and behind her I placed two
of my Bella Bouquet and added a stamped dragon fly among
the flowers. My sentiment is from a sticker set that I've had for
ever. Added a black bow with a center pearl and two little
frogs to finish it off.

I hope my card has inspired you to find you crafty place
and create something special for Lacy Sunshine's challenge.

Happy crafting.

PSC- Spring Thank You

This week challenge over here at Perfect Sentiments is
all about Thank You's. I sometimes think that we don't
use those two little words enough. They are simple words,
yet sometimes the hardest to say.

My image is from Patty's Creations.
I really liked the little gal swinging with the cat hanging on
for dear life.
I used a sizzix die for the scalloped circle and used my
Tim Holtz's distressed inks to go around the edges to
bring out the orange of the card and did the same on my
Martha Stewart floral punch.

I hope that you will find your crafty spot and
you find inspiration to create something for this weeks
challenge here at Perfect Sentiments.

Challenge # 62 Theme Anything Goes with Ribbon And Lace

This week we are celebrating ribbons and lace.
I usually have some ribbon on most of my cards,
but not allot of lace.. So this was fun for me,
Our sponsor this week is http://skdigis.blogspot.com/.
I didn't have any ribbon to match my colors, so
I used one of my Copic markers to match the vase.
I love that about the copic. My frame is Fancy Frames
from Oozak.com.
the sentiment is alittle hard to read, but it says
"wanted you to know I am here for you.. I found
this at Joanns in the dollar bend..

I hope that you will find your crafty space and join us

PSC- Dry Embossing

Hello everyone, What a beautiful week we have had here
in beautiful Oregon.. Sun is shinning, wind is blowing, flowers
are starting to blooms and life is good. I find it hard to believe
that I am down to 24 schools days and 3 more Mondays and
then I have the summer off. How great is that..
For this weeks challenge it is all about dry embossing.
I am such a fan of embossing. I think it adds so much
detailing to a card and texture.
For this weeks card I have made a cute little
birthday card.
I just loved her. she is done  purple and lime green copics.
My sentiment is from the dollar bend at Joann's.. They
have really gotten in so great stamps this week.
I also used a scalloped circle border in two sizes to
frame her and one of my sizzix floral dies and the
criss cross embossing folder for the back ground..
I hope you will join us over at

Happy Crafting..

Tsc - Challenge #61 Theme: Mother's Day

Goodevening everyone. Hope your day was fabulos.
We have been experiencing long days of beautiful
sunshine, which makes it hard to stay in the crafty
space trying to create, when I really want to be outside.
And it's only suppose to get better by the end of the week.
They are saying 80* by Thursday. Can you believe it..
Anyway, this weeks challenge is all about
Mother's Day. I thing the most important day of the
year. Unfortunately, I don't celebrate this day anymore
since the passing of my mother in 2008. So, I have
made for you today a loving card that would be
great to give to those special people whome you
love.
My card is made from a premade colored card package.
I added a piece of scrap paper from my stash that I thought
would bring out the color of the Apple Blossom Tag
that I got from our wonderful sponsor
You should check them out if you haven't already.. They have
fabulous digi images. Something for everyone.
My die is called Honey blossom sprig from Memory Box.
The Ribbon is from Joann's. It's self sticking.. Love that. :)

So, I hope my card will send you to your crafty space
to create that special Mother's Day Card and joing
for this weeks challenge..

Happy Scrappin.

Her Craftiness- White on White and one color

Hello everyone. My name is Pam Phelps
and I am so pleased to be back with Her
Craftiness as a guest designer..I am married
with two grown sons, two daughter in laws
3 grand children and 2 great grandkids..My hobbies
include first and for most my crafting,
I love gardening, horseback riding and spending time
with my grandbabies.
I work for an elementary school as a librarian and have
for almost 18year. I can smell retirement.LOL
  I met Lynne
through a fabulous DT that we were both on
up until a couple of weeks ago.. I had to make
some changes in my life and left the team.

So for todays card I have made a wedding card
for a friends daughter. It's been awhile since I
had done any wedding cards and found it
very fun. I hope you enjoy it.
I used my fancy swirls by sizzix to emboss the main card.
ran a peach ribbon down the side with matching bow.
I added a lace heart on the top and placed my bow. Now for
the fun.. My dress is made from a scalloped circle die. That's
right a circle die made this dress. I first cut out my circle.
Then you start on one side of two scallops and cut down to
about 1 1/2" down at a slight angle then go to the other side of
the two scallops and do the same thing.. Then you flare out to
make the skirt. With your left over paper, place the scallops
at the bottom making it look like layers. Place some bling around
the bottom, a ribbon around the waist and a bow if you wish.
My friend showed me how to do this and she had found it on
you guessed it, Pinterest. My new best wedding card, don't
you think.
