ME4Y 3 leaves challenge

This weeks challenge is all about leaves. It seems so appropriate
since fall has raised it head and things are cooling down.
So, this card was a fun one for me.
I was so excited to have received my new Die for the
back ground of this card from Spellbinders called the Card Maker
If you don't have it, do get it. It is awesome.
Is used a precut doily and my Spellbinders Maple leaf die
for the center. Martha Stewart always seems to find away onto
my cards. LOL This is her fancy butterfly punch. For the scrolls I
used my Cricut cart called Picturesque. And to finish it off my
sentiment also came from a Cricut cart called Beyond Birthdays.

If you haven't already become a follower take this opportunity
to. I am giving away a great blog candy when I reach 100 followers.

Hope you will join us for this weeks LEAF challenge.

For my project, I created this spooky castle for  my Count Drakula.
Spooky huh:)
I printed my Halloween saying from my printer then cut it out with my circle cutter and
placed it on an orange background with some stamped bats on the back ground. For the
scene,  I love Count Dracula standing at the gate. Count is a Digi from Bugaboo.

ME4Y Gatefold Card

Welcome to another ME4Y challenge card. This week
we are making Gatefolded cards. I had never made one of
these before but I will again. I love them.
For this card I used a 5 1/2 X 7 1/2. The standard A2 card
just wasn't big enough to use my Butterfly. The card stock
I used was from my Citris collection with the matching striped
paper. I added some black swirly bling for that touch of POP.
As you can see, I cut my gate 4 1/2 X 4 1/2 from the same
Citris bundle in Blue then turned a coordinating striped blue
sideways. Layered that with a paper doily. My butterfly
is from Sizzix Butterfly die. After cutting it I ran it through
my Dotted Swiss embossing folder.
I used silk flower for the center of the Butterfly
and place a bow to hid the stem.
The sentiment was cut with a Martha Stewart flower
punch, centered with a scalloped edged circle with
"sending Smiles" as the sentiment.
I like to add a little something on the inside of my card
to bring it all together. In this case it's more bling.
Final look of my card for this challenge.
As always I hope you will join us for this weeks Gatefolded card challenge.
I'll be looking for you :)

This weeks sponsor is
for a $15.00 Gift Certificate.

ME4Y 3 Balloon challenge

I love making fun challenges like this. I dug out 3 of my
Cricut Carts and away I went. Here is what I came up with.
For my background I dug this our of my scrap basket. Love that thing.
The side was made using my Martha Stewart Punch around the page.
I saw here use this on HSN yesterday and didn't know that you could make
border strips with it. Learn something again.. The Bike was made using my
Stretch Your Imagination cart and my Celebrations cart for the balloons and
sentiment. I added pearls to the balloons and some trendy twine for the strings.
I truly don't use my Cricut enough.

Hope you will join us on this fabulous challenge at
Made Especially For You.

ME4Y Sktech challenge

This is our sketch week. I really enjoy doing these types of challenges and
our Sponsor this week for DIGI's is Bugaboo. Love their images. So for
my sketch this week, I chose a fall them. September is the time when our leaves
begin to fall so here is my card.
I love this little gal popping out of the leaf bag. I used all scrap papers for
this one. My scrap bag of paper is slowly going down.  The scallop behind my photo
is a Sizzix die and I used two leaf brads to hold my sentiment on.

I hope you will join us this week for another sketch challenge. We love
seeing your take on our sketches.

Anything Goes Disney Challenge.

This week we could make anything as long as it was connected to Disney.
Loved doing this project and had the perfect paper to do it with. When our
youngest was 3 we took a trip to Disneyland (mistake with a 3 year old)
no matter, I had bought a packet back in the day of Disney papers and embellishments.
Well, once I was through digging through ALL my pattern papers
I FOUNT IT. The background paper.

I found the Clown Fish on a free web site and colored them with my
Copics, cut them out and placed lift pads under the larger Clown fish for a little pop..
The star fish,  Nemo sign and bubbles, I found in the
Disney section at Joann's. We are also using stamps from Verve Stamps
which are wonderful. I decided to use this one on my card.
I thought it was the appropreiate saying. We all
know how hard Nemo's dad hunted for his son.
To me that makes him a hero.

I really think that this looks so real.
This one was a fun one for me. I hope you enjoy it and don't forget
to check out the rest of the DT from Made Especially For you.
Have fun with this one.
